Context

Second section of AIF Apps implementation (DR02 task 5.2). The Planning Data Schema (PDS) is what MFP and AP read from; it is filled from the RI data warehouse by three AIF DATA standalone exports. Runs after Push information from Retail Insights to AIF APPS and before any Planning Application Build — the postbuild_rdx batch imports what these exports produce.

All three processes run in POM > Tasks > Batch Monitoring > AIF DATA > Standalone (navigation in How to run a POM standalone job). None take parameters; the date window comes from C_SOURCE_CDC.

Quick access

Export dimensions

  1. Run LOAD_PDS_DIMENSION_PROCESS_ADHOC.

Every run truncates and rewrites the full dimension snapshot — there is no incremental dimension export.

Set the extraction window

In C_SOURCE_CDC (APEX, or Control and Tactical Center > Manage Configurations), set the start and end date for the extraction. Use week-ending dates aligned with the first and the last week you want to export. For the inventory history export the row is TABLE_NAME = W_RTL_INV_IT_LC_WK_A, and the range must match weeks actually loaded as inventory history — otherwise the job fails with no data found.

The table is updated after every run to the last date exported, so the next batch export continues from there.

Export facts

  1. Run LOAD_PDS_FACT_PROCESS_ADHOC.

Export inventory history

  1. Run LOAD_PDS_FACT_INITIAL_PROCESS_ADHOC.

Sends the range of inventory weeks configured in Set the extraction window under a single run ID.

Rerunning in the same business date

A job that has already run in the current business date is blocked by its status record in C_LOAD_DATES. To run the same export again, run C_LOAD_DATES_CLEANUP_ADHOC first — it purges the job records from C_LOAD_DATES and C_LOAD_DATES_DETAILS.
